On March 16th, the 26th China Xiamen International Stone Fair grandly kicked off at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center.

Four themed exhibition halls made a stunning debut: UMGG Comprehensive Hall (C4017), Stone Infinity Hall (A7S1), Living Space Exhibition Hall (A8H5) and New Materials Hall (W006). Joined by two top design masters, Dai Kun and Woody Yao, the event integrates innovative craftsmanship with trendy design, transforming the billion-year-old texture of natural stone into an immersive aesthetic experience.

Recently, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli inspected the ultra-high complex project in the new city of Alamein in Egypt.

 

Prime Minister Madbury and his delegation climbed to the 66th floor of the T01 landmark tower of the project to inspect the progress of the project on the spot, listened to a detailed report on the project’s construction situation, fully affirmed the current performance achievements of the project, expressed gratitude to the China State Construction team for their professional capabilities and hard work in the project construction, and required all participating parties to deepen cooperation with the China State Construction team. Accelerate the progress of mechanical and electrical installation and interior decoration to ensure that the key node targets are completed on schedule. Prime Minister Madbouli also praised the lake island area designed and constructed by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation team, expressing his approval of its overall effect. At the same time, he conveyed President Sisi’s concern over the progress of the ongoing project in the new city of Alamein, emphasizing that this area is a strategic starting point for the development of Egypt’s northwest coast and is of great significance for promoting regional economic development.

 

The new city of Alamein is located on the Mediterranean coast in northern Egypt. It is an important strategic city in the Egyptian government’s “Vision 2030” plan. In the future, it will serve as the “Summer Capital” of Egypt and become a center of the northern coast integrating culture, services and tourism. The Alaman New Town Super High-rise Complex Project is the starting point and center of the construction of Alaman New Town, covering an area of 1.1 million square meters, including 4 super high-rise residential buildings and 1 landmark tower.

 

Among them, the T01 landmark tower has a height of approximately 300 meters and a total construction area of about 402,600 square meters. The building integrates multiple functions such as apartments, offices, commercial Spaces, and sightseeing. Once completed, it will become the tallest all-reinforced concrete super high-rise residential building in Africa and rank among the top ten tallest residential buildings in the world. Global Stone participated in the construction of the Alaman New Town project, supplying over 200,000 square meters of stone. It joined hands with China State Construction Engineering Corporation to build a classic project along the Belt and Road Initiative, “creating miracles in the desert”.

The moment you step into Alila, it feels as if you are cut off from the hustle and bustle, quiet and secluded. The creation of the serene tones is inspired by the carboniferous grey marble – Cezanne Grey, as if the frozen night, flowing through every space of the hotel with different texture surfaces.

The sky garden that unexpectedly catches the eye contrasts beautifully with the tranquility of the interior, and the matte texture forms a gentle transition with the greenery of the courtyard.

Reserved and solemn yet brimming with the modern charm of Shanghai

The style of Cezanne Grey is reserved and solemn. Here, together with the old Shanghai tiles, the bright floral arrangements at the corners, the unique grilles and the artistic paintings, it creates a serene yet not dull space, which is reserved yet conceals the modern atmosphere of Shanghai.

 

In the dining area, the calm tones of Cezanne Grey create a warm dialogue with the elements of woodwork and rattan weaving. The texture surfaces of different craftsmanship bring a visually striking surprise. When the gaze shifts to the window, the Shanghai Shikumen architectural complex comes into view. The deep Cezanne grey and the historical sense of the old buildings form a dialogue of time and space.

The guest room is decorated with decorative tiles and embossed glass in the style of a mansion. The details are rich in regional culture, forming a rhythm of light and shade with the washbasin and bathroom made of Cezanne grey. The shell fossils from hundreds of millions of years ago have become the most beautiful footnote of the space.

The 25th Xiamen International Stone Fair, the annual global event of the stone industry, has come to a successful end. 96 hours of gathering, 153,294 total participants. The collaborative creation of the “Stone Infinity” theme exhibition – “HongCuo” – became one of the most stunning and astonishing works in the entire venue. “House” means traditional houses in southern Fujian, representing the warmth of home. Through the creation of Roman tournstone and red tournstone, a space full of the cultural charm of southern Fujian was created, presenting a life theater of coexistence between stone and human beings
