SERPEGGIANTE

  • 01. Material characteristics

SERPEGGIANTE refers to a category of natural stone with wood-like veining. Its texture varies based on cutting techniques: longitudinal cuts reveal timber-like patterns, while cross-sectional cuts display cloud-like, water-flow, or tree-ring motifs. Classified by stone type, it includes marble and sandstone variants; by color, purple, red, and yellow serpeggiante; and by veining style, fine, broad, linear, or organic patterns. It is also categorized by origin. International serpeggiante stones typically belong to marble, with Italian Serpeggiante widely regarded as the pinnacle of quality. Featuring a warm beige base, exceptional hardness, wear resistance, compressive strength, and high polish, it is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications. Its organic textures infuse spaces with natural warmth and understated elegance.
